uh...Gus-Gus?

The girls have had the pleasure of spending a couple of evenings with our new, wonderful babysitter Katie. The girls love her and it has been nice to have someone we can call--plus she is a college student and likes to get paid for having fun with kids!

Eden just told me that she had a dream "last week" which means last night, and it was about Gus, the mouse on Cinderella. He fell down the stairs, "but he wasn't dead. He was just lying there wounded."

Tonight while we were praying with Eden, Daddy was reminding her of the people they'd been praying for--certain tribes of people who don't have bible in their language. After he prayed for them, Eden wanted to pray, and she said, "We should remember all the people who don't have beanbags too. " So she prayed for the people without beanbags.

Mom: Eden, where are you?
(from other room) Eden: Yes, mom?
Mom: Oh nothing, just wondered where you were.
Eden: I was just pretending that you died.
Mom: Oh, that is...sad. Are you in your room?
Eden: Yeah, (few second pause) I'm getting ready for the parade!

The girls were in the back seat of the van giggling and Eden says, "Mommy, Elly and me have lots of giggles!"

Eden is stepping on Dad's bottom while we lay on the floor. "Can I step on your bum Mom?"
she asks. I say yes, so she does. "Yours is a lot cheekier than Daddy's!" she says.
