We carved our pumpkins tonight, and the kids, despite being hungry and tired, did well. Eden thought carving and painting them would be fun, and of course I didn't say no. Elly was so busy eating everything, the seeds, the slime, the tops of the pumpkins--she had little time to help us carve. In the end I think they looked really great. I loved Eden's troll-looking face. The Tim Burtonesque one is mine, and the tall narrow face is Dan's.
