Just thought I would post a picture of my grandparent's cabin in the flood in Big Lake, MO. This isn't the first time (or the last) it has been flooded. Note that the cabin is built up on 6' stilts, so the water didn't reach their belongings. The dark brown cabin on the left is theirs. I guess Big Lake has been on CNN and I saw it on ABC World News as well.

Ugh! This is heart wrenching to see ... they showed an interview of some Big Lake residents all the way over here in Germany. So glad the cabin is on stilts ... I have so many memories of that place.
