Father's Day

Happy Father's Day to you.

To describe Dan as a father is easy, you need only say what my dad told him the other day:

"You're the kind of dad that every kid wants their dad to be." You are.

You are bathtime bubbles, bike rides, tall stacks of books in the Lazy Boy before bed.
You're strawberries and sugar and sliding at the park.
You are loud funny voices and our fix it man.
You teach us about God and his grace and you pray over us at night.
You're wrestling and holding us over your head and doing bicep curls with us hanging from your arm.
You wipe tears and kiss owies.
You let us type and take pictures and listen to your iPod.
You teach us how to snuggle and get us milk in the middle of the night.
You are Daddy.
