As you can imagine, as the parents of a nearly five year old girl, we encounter much drama and the occasional "sassy" attitude...of course, we like our children to speak pleasantly to each other and to us, so we try to correct this behavior as soon as it happens. Eden, ever burdened by her mother's voice inside her head, now even tattles on herself when she and her girlfriends from preschool use the "Bratz"-inspired lingo. (BTW, my stance on Bratz remains the same--not appropriate for a 4-5 year old!)
Today after school, Eden confessed her questionable tone during carpool:
"In the van with Callie, I said, 'HELLO!!??!!!' but not in a professional naughty way, just in a girly good way."

It's interesting to put "professional" and "naughty" together!
yeah it is...professional seems to be her catchall word of late, so no offense to all you professional people!
