Here are some random pictures of the kids from the last few days. Notice how scrawny Elly is--she is feeling a bit better FINALLY after 7 days of fever and no sleep. We took her in Friday and she has a double ear infection, so that explains why she was not recovering well from the croup. Her cough is still there but not as high-pitched, and her breathing has improved. If we can get a few good meals in her and a couple good nights of sleep, we should be well on our way. She has smiled a few times today so we are seeing glimpses of our old Elly in there...unfortunately we have taken about 100 steps backward in the "phase out Nukie" process. She's had it in her mouth (and sometimes one in each hand) for seven days straight!
As for our little Ballerina, Eden is having a great time playing with the dress up clothes that Grammy and Papa gave her while she was down there at their house. It has several leotards and matching tutus with ballet slippers and a tiara and wand. What five year old girl would not love that? We gave her a CD player for her room so that she can practice her "dance routines" on her own. She has carried it around and really enjoyed it (I really want to call it a ghetto blaster, but now, that would age me so I won't) :)
