More Birthday Surprises





I never got these b'day pics posted- Aunt Brynnie sent Eden a cake and balloon to our house on her birthday (to make up for the lack of attention since Elly was so sick :(

OK...laughed hysterically at the first picture. Elly and her binkie...and of course, the spare close by. The only reason I can laugh at the binkie situation is because binkie dependency is the hard cold reality at our house as well. Let me know when you've figured out the perfect solution, preferrably the tear and tantrum free version

In her defense (and ours :) she had been sick for a week, but even before that she would still use one periodically through melt-down times of day and at bedtime. After the two weeks of illness she is pretty addicted again...today we tried to go without and it was not terrible, she got it at naptime and that was it. The crazy thing is that she talks a blue streak and does not whine as much when she doesn't have it. You would think it would make her more content but it really makes her fussier. So upon that realization, we are going to try to phase it out before the holidays. Visiting grandma's will be alot easier when we're not psychotically worried about losing the precious Nukie! I'll let you know how it works out!
