Today Elly confirmed what I had wondered for a while...Were those mumbly baby sounds actually turning into words?? It seems that way...Today she said "kitty" to a Hello Kitty spoon and then "pih-dee" (pretty) to a necklace. On Tuesday I was changing her diaper and she looked right at me and said, "Poop." Of course, my child, the sister of the bathroom-talk-obsessed Eden Lily, would have her first word be "poop."
