Yesterday at snack time, I gave Elly a sippy cup of juice and I started to pour Eden's juice in a regular "big girl" cup. This conversation followed:
Eden: No! I want a sippy cup too.
Mom: No, sorry honey. You get juice in a cup.
Eden: But I want a sippy cup! I always want a sippy cup.
Mom: Nope.
Eden: I WANT A SIPPY CUP!
[this went on until I just quit answering her]
[pause]
Eden: This isn't working. I'll take my juice in a cup. I was just joking anyway.
